Matthieu St-Jean
Clinical endocrinologist at the CIUSSS de l’Estrie-CHUS in Sherbrooke, Quebec, since 2019. He has expertise in adrenal disorders and Cushing’s syndrome. He is also involved in clinical research focusing mainly on primary aldosteronism and Cushing’s syndrome. He is involved in 2 international adrenal research groups, the ENSAT and the A5.

Luciana Martel Duguech
Dr. Luciana Martel Duguech is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism at the University of Ottawa, Clinician-Scientist at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute, and Staff Endocrinologist at The Ottawa Hospital. Originally trained in medicine and endocrinology in Argentina, she earned her PhD in Clinical Research in Endocrinology from Universitat Autónoma de Barcelona, focusing on pituitary diseases and muscle dysfunction in Cushing’s syndrome and acromegaly. She completed fellowships in Endocrine Oncology at the University of Toronto and adrenal diseases at CHUM Montreal, contributing to research on adrenal tumors and rare endocrine cancers. Her current work integrates clinical care, digital diagnostics, and national collaborations to improve outcomes for patients with cortisol-related disorders. Fluent in five languages, Dr. Martel Duguech leads multidisciplinary initiatives and has received multiple awards for her research excellence.

Brandon Galm
Dr Galm is a clinical assistant professor at the University of British Columbia and endocrinologist at Vancouver General Hospital. He is also the UBC endocrinology program director. He completed his internal medicine and endocrinology training in Edmonton, followed by two years in Boston completing a pituitary fellowship and a Master of Public Health. His clinical practice includes all of endocrinology, with a particular focus on pituitary and adrenal disorders.

Jonathan Poirier
Dr. Poirier obtained his degrees in pharmacy and medicine from Université Laval (Québec). He then completed his internal medicine training there, followed by his endocrinology and metabolism training at the Université de Montréal. He gained both clinical care and research expertise in the field of adrenal gland cancers and rare diseases at Hôpital Cochin in Paris (France) over a two-year period. Since 2023, he has been a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Université de Montréal and practices at the Centre hospitalier de l’Université de Montréal (CHUM), specializing in endocrine cancers and hormonal disorders involving the adrenal glands and the pituitary gland, as well as in the investigation of hypercortisolism syndromes.
