Ari Morgenthau BSc., MSc., MD, FRCPC
Dr. Ari Morgenthau is a Clinician-Teacher in the Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism, at the University of Toronto. Ari has a special interest in Endocrine Genetics and divides his clinical time between the Fred A. Litwin Family Centre in Genetic Medicine and the Toronto General Hospital General Endocrinology Clinic. Ari completed his MD at New York Medical College, his core Internal Medicine training at Dalhousie University, and his Adult Endocrinology and Metabolism training at the University of Toronto. Additionally, he completed a Clinical and Metabolic Genetics fellowship at the University of Toronto, has a Master of Science from the University of Calgary, and a Graduate Certificate in Genomic Counselling and Variant Interpretation from the University of British Columbia.

Aliya Khan, MD, FRCPC, FACP, FACE
Aliya Khan is a Professor of Clinical Medicine at McMaster University, Director of the Calcium Disorders Clinic and the Fellowship in Metabolic Bone Disease at McMaster University. She graduated from the University of Ottawa Medical School with honors and completed postgraduate training at the University of Toronto. She has published over 200 scientific papers and numerous chapters and books on osteoporosis and parathyroid disease. She has received numerous national and international awards including the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal for excellence, International Hypoparathyroidism Award, International Osteoporosis Foundation award for publishing excellence and recognized by Osteoporosis Canada for outstanding contributions to research and education. She was recognized as being in the top 0.1% of the world experts in hyperparathyroidism by Expertscape.

Luciana Martel Duguech
Dr. Luciana Martel Duguech is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism at the University of Ottawa, Clinician-Scientist at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute, and Staff Endocrinologist at The Ottawa Hospital. Originally trained in medicine and endocrinology in Argentina, she earned her PhD in Clinical Research in Endocrinology from Universitat Autónoma de Barcelona, focusing on pituitary diseases and muscle dysfunction in Cushing’s syndrome and acromegaly. She completed fellowships in Endocrine Oncology at the University of Toronto and adrenal diseases at CHUM Montreal, contributing to research on adrenal tumors and rare endocrine cancers. Her current work integrates clinical care, digital diagnostics, and national collaborations to improve outcomes for patients with cortisol-related disorders. Fluent in five languages, Dr. Martel Duguech leads multidisciplinary initiatives and has received multiple awards for her research excellence.
